Description

Beautiful crisp Buttercup pattern, hallmark on back dates to the last quarter of the 19th century. It has superficial scratches especially on the tines, the camera magnifies. There is a very elaborate monogram in the “spoon” of the fork that is difficult to discern. Its beauty would benefit from a light polishing, yet the pattern is enhanced with some tarnish left. Not sure what this 6 3/4” fork was used for, perhaps cold meat. Please see photos for more description, thank you for viewing, questions welcomed. No handling fees, safe packing.
