Up for bid from an excellent Kansas City Missouri Estate is this VINTAGE 1847 ROGERS SILVERPLATE 7 3/4” Cake PASTRY SERVING FORK! This serving fork is only silverplated, it is not like my other listings for silver that are up right now. It is quite old and used, there is a very slight bend in the prongs from use, the metal needs a really good clean and polish if you're planning to use it. I do find this fork very classic and I recall my grandmother having an entire set similar to this. It is exactly as pictured - see photos for a more accurate description. It is in as found estate sale condition and I'll leave any light dusting and cleaning up to the new owner as we do not want to risk damaging the item.
