Presented is a superb quality Gorham sterling silver serving fork. This server is made in the Luxembourg pattern, which began production in 1893. This pattern features classical scrollwork decoration around the handles, with an overall Rococo inspired look. This particular fork is likely made as a cold meat serving fork, but the size and shape are versatile and this would be an excellent serving piece for a variety of purposes. The handle is stamped with the old style Gorham maker's mark as well as sterling. This serving fork is in excellent overall condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There has been a monogram removal, but it was professionally done and is not easy to notice. There are no splits, no dents, no monograms, and no repairs. The fork measures about 8 inches long.
