Description

Presented is a large antique, sterling silver serving fork made by Tiffany & Company during the late 19th century. This piece is in the Persian pattern, which was patented in 1872 and it is old, original production. The handle is ornately decorated with raised flowers and leaves over a stippled background. The curved tines have a nice gold wash. This piece has never been monogrammed. The handle is marked Tiffany & Co, sterling, patent 1872 and bears the M mark used for production between 1873 and 1891.
