Description
Presented is an antique, sterling silver serving fork made by the Whiting Manufacturing Company during the first quarter of the 1900s. This piece is in the Duke of York pattern, which was patented in 1900 and it is old, original production. The handle is cast with raised flourishes and the front has a Gothic style monogram of the letter H. The back is marked for Whiting, sterling and patent Dec 4, 1900. This piece is in great overall condition and the designs are crisp. There is very minor surface wear commensurate with age and use, but there are no damages and no repairs. Length: 9 1/4 inches.
