Presented is an antique silver salad set or 2 large serving pieces made by Thorvald Marthinsen of Norway during the first quarter of the 1900s in the Viking Rose pattern. This Scandinavian silver set includes a large fork and spoon, which could be used together for serving salad or separately to serve any food. The handles are done in classic Norwegian style, with column form shafts that have detailed, openwork flower and leaves at the top. The back of each handle is marked for 830 purity silver and Thorvald Marthinsen. This set is in great condition, especially for its age. The designs are crisp and there are no damages.
