Description
Presented is an antique, sterling silver large serving fork made by Gorham during the late 19th century. This piece is in the Imperial Chrysanthemum pattern, which was patented in 1894 and it is old, original production. Both sides of the handle and the bowl or base are finely cast with detailed, Art Nouveau style chrysanthemum flowers and leaves. The fork has never been monogrammed. The back is marked for Gorham, sterling silver and patent 1894. This piece is in great overall condition and the designs are crisp.
