For Your Consideration we are proud to present this extremely rare Sterling Silver Salad Buffet Vegetable Serving Fork in the Fruit Series by Mechanics Watson. Measuring 9-1/4" in length, this beautiful fork shows the strawberry motif as each piece in the Fruit Series highlights a different fruit. This is an extremely rare piece of flatware. We believe this to be for the serving of salad or vegetables or used in a buffet. It is difficult to determine because of the scarcity of this piece. There is a monogram and a date of 1908 on the reverse of the handle. It is quite a heavy piece, but we are selling based on the extreme rarity and desirability of this pattern. It would pair well with Tiffany's strawberry pattern, or the other pieces in the Mechanics Watson Fruit Series.
