Elevate your dining experience with the 1888 ( could even be earlier date ) Antler Fish Serving Set by HB&H, a testament to Victorian elegance. This set is a true representation of classic design, featuring intricate floral motifs that are a nod to the timeless sophistication of the era. Crafted with attention to detail, the silverplate composition ensures a gleaming finish that will add a touch of luxury to any table setting. Ideal for collectors and those who appreciate the beauty of antique silverware, the serving set is a perfect choice for special occasions or to enhance your existing collection. With its unique fish-shaped serving pieces, this set not only serves as a functional tableware but also as a conversation piece that embodies the charm and grandeur of the Victorian style. As you can see from the pictures, the actual knife and fork portion has five Hallmarks.. this signifies that the top portion of the set right where the top portion meets the handle.. is Silver plated ..and then according to the Hallmarks on the handle rings on the top portion of the handle and the bottom portion of the handle it’s signifies that it is sterling silver.(the rings at each end of the antler handles…) the marks are The Crown, the Lion, and the Letter V ….(these are different hallmarks than the top portion of the knife and fork) So it looks like this se is both sterling silver and plated silver.. see pics with hallmarks..
