Presented is a coin silver serving fork made by Ball, Black & Company of New York, NY successors to Ball, Tompson, and Black. The shaft is detailed in a crisp Bead design. There is an engraved presentation dated 1855 at the top of the shaft, please see photos. The backside of the fork is marked with the maker's Ball, Black & Co. Tested and guaranteed to be coin silver. The fork is in excellent condition. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs. The fork is 9 3/4 inches long. The weight is 105 grams or 3.7 ounces.
